AN INSPIRATION, WORLDWIDE

Georges St-Pierre (Rush, GSP) was born in Saint-Isidore, a small municipality in Montérégie, Quebec, on May 19, 1981. He is considered one of the greatest mixed martial arts’ fighters of all time. He started practising martial arts at a young age, thirsty for learning and constantly moti-vated by self-improvement. He has set himself apart by his determination and humility, as well as his moral and physical strength.

GSP is prized and renowned as an all-around athlete. He has made a name for himself through the intensive practice of a wide variety of martial arts, combat sports and gymnastics.

“I am most touched by the honour granted by the municipality I grew up in. I hope that Place GSP will become a place of inspiration and gatherings for all generations and a symbol of perseverance, especially for our youth fostering great dreams.”

The Athlete’s 8 Core Values

The Athlete’s 8 Core Values

Georges St-Pierre lives by martial arts core values, as much in his work ethic, as in his personal affairs. These values are engraved on the octagon floor, where the athlete has shown as much agility as strength. The circular arc walk on which eleven Chinese stone steps are disposed draws inspiration from the oriental philosophy revered by the fighter.
